LOST and FOUND items are growing - To Be Donated
We have a large amount of clothing, mittens, scarves, shirts, some tennis shoes and boots sitting on our lost items table in the main hallway.  We also have a large number of GLASSES sitting on that table.  Feel free to stop by to see if any of these items belong to your child.  Items not claimed by Thursday, March 26th will be donated to a charity. Our main office is open 7:30 - 4:30 pm.  We have extended hours until 6 pm when our CLC program is in session. To prevent items from being lost,  please use a marker or fabric tape to put your child's last name onto and into items so when found they will be returned.
1st and 2nd grade concert
The 1st and 2nd grade concert, “Forever Friends," will take place on  Thursday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m.  in the Brown Deer Elementary School gym.  All 1st and 2nd grade students are required to attend.  They should meet their classroom teacher in the cafeteria by 6:00 p.m. dressed in their best clothes!  You won't want to miss this special evening of music!
Peachjar eFlyer Distribution
Peachjar Electronic Flyers for Parents - February 16th
The School District of Brown Deer will be implementing a new electronic flyer distribution system on February 16th.  Parents will be receiving an email from Peachjar with login and password information.  This will allow parents to set the frequency of their notifications.  By making this change, the School District will be able to save paper, trees, time and money.  Hopefully, now you will have all of the information you previously received in paper flyers, or possibly not at all, available in the convenient click of a button. Just look for the orange Peachjar logo.
Math Night Survey
The staff at Brown Deer Elementary School is creating a parent math night to show you how our new math curriculum is being taught, as well as the ways your child is learning how to solve math problems.  In order to make sure we are meeting the needs of the parents in our community, we are looking for your feedback in helping create our math night.  Please take a few minutes to respond to this survey (click on "survey" for link) to help us create a math night to meet your needs as well as further meet the needs of your child(ren).  Thank you and we look forward to your responses and attendance at our math night.

Appointments during School Time Require a Medical/Dental Excuse When Returning
